C.A.R. Legal Hotline

The C.A.R. Legal Hotline is a free service for members seeking confidential legal advice about real estate issues. Use this anytime you need legal type advice. Members may use the hotline if they have questions about contract interpretation, arbitration, litigation, tax issues, commission disputes, disclosure requirements, fair housing issues, HOA laws, and more. If you are involved in a transaction with another REALTOR® and there are problems, it is always better to be the first to call C.A.R. Legal. The other agent involved in the transaction cannot call them after you have registered your call.

Attorneys are available Monday-Friday, 9:00AM – 6:00PM PST; Saturday, 10:00AM – 2:00PM. Due to limited staffing on Saturdays, the hotline is restricted for only those questions relating to active transactions.
